As with all iMIS modules, you need to take steps on the iMIS System Setup level to enable the module and provide secured authorization for each iMIS user.
■ If needed, select File > System Menus > System Setup and edit your iMIS Licensing to enable iMIS Legislative Tracking.
■ To display the Legislative module in iMIS, select File > Applications > Legislative Tracking. If it does not appear in this list, return to the previous step.
■ Provide an Authorization Level for each user of Legislative: select System Setup > Security administration > Users. This security scheme works as it does with all other iMIS modules.
Bill Tracking Options
The only configuration you need to complete before entering your legislative bills is defining custom text and date fields to appear on each bill’s Notes window.
■ Select Leg/Track> System Setup.

These optional fields include five alphanumeric and three date fields. Each field is available only if you assign it a label (title) on this window.
Note: You can place white space between your optional fields to group them visually: do this by skipping fields, such as by using fields 1, 2, 4, and 5 but not 3.
